1) Belgian fashion designer Raf Simons was officially named the new artistic director of the maison Dior. With a short press release the famous French brand confirmed rumors advanced last February 27, when the designers had "inexplicably" announced that the one presented in Milan would be his last collection for the German brand Jil Sander. Simons will be responsible for the collection of Haute Couture, ready-to-wear and accessories for women.
His first collection for Dior will be presented to the public next July.

5) Matt-Silk, retro eyeglasses Dolce Gabbana &. For their collection spring/summer 2012, Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana were inspired by the South of Italy 50, making garments printed with fruits and vegetables, jewellery with dough and santini inserts and hairstyles typically fifties. A trend that also found in their eyewear collection "Matt-Silk", consisting of sunglasses and eyeglasses made of acetate matt ranging from classic pastel colours (pink, powder pink and turquoise) up to more intense ones like cherry red, black and scorched earth.
